Calling All Dog Walkers and Pet Sitters! Part - time positions
available in Westchester and Putnam
Description:
Dog Walkers: Usually provide midday visits Monday through Friday
to walk, visit and exercise dogs while their owners are at work. (must
be available Mon-Fri from 11:00am-3:00pm)
Pet Sitters: Visit clients homes 1-3 times per day to feed, walk,
exercise and provide love and company to clients pets while they are
on vacation. (Must be available Mon-Sun mornings 6-9, midday
11:30-2:30, evenings 6-9:30 and most holidays)
Overnight Pet Sitters: Provide overnight care at clients homes
typically from 8:00pm-7:00am.
Preference will be given to those that are available for more
than one position.
Requirements for this position:
-Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
-Be looking for a long term position and can commit to at least 6
months..
-Have experience caring for dogs and cats.
-Must love animals
-Be physically capable of walking different size dogs.
-Be willing to clean up after animals in your care.
-Have good customer service skills.
-Available weekends and holidays as needed.
-Must have a very open, flexible schedule.
-Work within an 8 mile radius of your home.
-Must own a reliable insured vehicle. (This is an "on the road" job and
you will be responsible for your gas.
-Must be responsible, punctual and organized.
-Be able to follow directions.
-Be extremely reliable and honest.
-Have internet access and a cell phone.
-Provide references and pass a criminal background check.
