Calling All Dog Walkers and Pet Sitters!
Description:
Dog Walkers: Usually provide midday visits Monday through
Friday to walk, visit and exercise dogs while their owners are at
work.
Pet Sitters: Visit clients homes 1-4 times per day to feed, walk,
exercise and provide love and company to clients pets while they
are on vacation. (Weekdays, weekends and holidays)
Requirements for this position:
-Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
-Be looking for a long term position. We are looking to build a
staff that clients can rely on and their pets can grow to know and
love.
-Have some experience with dogs and cats.
-Must love animals and be able to handle large dogs.
-Be willing to clean up after animals in your care.
-Available weekends and holidays as needed.
-Must have a very open, flexible schedule.
-Must be available to do visits early morning, midday and evening.
-Live in the immediate area. (Preferably Mahopac, Carmel or a
town which borders Mahopac)
-Must own a reliable insured vehicle. (This is an "on the road" job
and you will be responsible for your gas. This is one of the
reasons you must be located in the area)
-Must be responsible, punctual and organized.
-Be able to follow directions.
-Be extremely reliable and honest.
-Have internet access and a cell phone.
-Provide references and pass a criminal background check.
